Antique/Cushion
Cut
A true reproduction of antique/cushion cut stones with a similar shape
to modern cushion cut stones. Fewer facets than modern brilliant/cushion
shape stones give much more visible depth & intensity better showing
the internal beauty through the top of the stone. Bearing a resemblance
to early mine cut stones, but with much more precision, cut to precise
proportions with very even & square table facets, sometimes referred
to as "checker cut" facets.
Shows very well in low-light
conditions! |

Barrel/Dome Cut
A true reproduction of antique
"barrel" style cuts also popular in the art-deco era. Top of
stone is domed & faceted with rectangular facets across the stone,
rather than a flat "table". Also shows the beautiful internal
aspects of the stone with better depth and has particularly good
brilliance in low-light conditions.
